Ability Fest Returns in 2024 to Melbourne and Debuts in Brisbane

Ability Fest, Australia’s pioneering accessible music festival, is set to make a triumphant return in 2024 with events scheduled for Melbourne and Brisbane. Organised by the Dylan Alcott Foundation in collaboration with Untitled Group, Ability Fest aims to provide an inclusive experience where everyone can enjoy world-class music in fully accessible settings.

Scheduled for October 19th at Alexandra Gardens, Melbourne, and October 26th at Victoria Park, Brisbane, Ability Fest promises a diverse lineup featuring artists from Australia and around the globe. Notably, the festival continues its commitment to affordability with tickets priced at just $60, and complimentary admission for carers, reflecting its dedication to inclusivity.

Founder Dylan Alcott emphasizes the festival’s role in uniting communities through the power of music, particularly during challenging times marked by financial strain across Australia. Proceeds from the event support the Dylan Alcott Foundation’s mission to empower young Australians living with disabilities.

With last year’s lineup boasting stellar names like Sampa The Great, Hilltop Hoods, and Meg Mac, Ability Fest 2024 is expected to draw crowds eager for both great music and a meaningful cause. Tickets for both Melbourne and Brisbane editions go on sale to the general public on July 11th, following a pre-sale on July 10th.
