The Big Pineapple Festival will mark a major milestone in 2025, celebrating its 10-year anniversary on Saturday, 1 November at the iconic Pineapple Fields in Woombye. Renowned for spotlighting Australian music talent, the beloved Sunshine Coast event will return with its signature all-Aussie lineup — plus a few special guests.

Following a celebrated comeback in 2024 after a three-year hiatus, the festival recently earned its fourth “Best Music Festival” win at the 2025 Queensland Music Awards. Since its debut in 2013, Big Pineapple Festival has become a cornerstone of Australia’s live music scene, having hosted acts like Rufus Du Sol, Grinspoon, Vera Blue, and Peking Duk.

Founder Mark Pico reflected on the journey: “To be here a decade later, stronger than ever, is incredibly humbling. It’s a testament to the incredible community that’s grown around this festival.”

The 2025 edition will also feature the debut performance of the Rising Star winner from the inaugural Sunshine Coast Music Awards — a new initiative to support local talent.
