A moving new event is set to light up the Central Coast this October, as LIGHT UP brings together music, remembrance and a call for change. Taking place on Saturday 4th October, 2025 at polytec Stadium in Gosford, this special one-day festival honours the memory of Audrey Griffin, uniting the community under a shared vision for a safer future.
Headlined by Aussie rock icons Birds of Tokyo and electronic powerhouse LUUDE, the inaugural LIGHT UP also features the soaring vocals of Mia Wray, Central Coast favourites The Moving Stills, local emerging artist Arabella Romi, and crowd-pleasing DJ Moody Tiger Pants. Set in a safe, welcoming environment, the event includes food trucks, a busking tent, and awareness initiatives that reinforce its deeper message.
Organisers are asking attendees to dress in white as a symbol of unity and remembrance. Alongside Audrey’s mother, Kathleen Kirby, a passionate team of community leaders and music industry professionals are leading the initiative to ensure that LIGHT UP is more than a festival—it’s a movement. The message is clear: everyone deserves to get home safely.

LIGHT UP 2025 aims to transform grief into hope, and music into a catalyst for social change. As night falls on 4th October, households and businesses across Gosford are encouraged to leave their lights on—an act of solidarity and a bright symbol of a safer, stronger future for all.
