Laneway Festival is back with a stacked 2026 lineup, unveiling one of its most ambitious bills yet as the beloved trans-Tasman event turns 21. With 35% more artists than previous editions and a brand new East Coast stage, this summer’s run promises a bold celebration of new music, cult favourites, and long-awaited Australian debuts.
Topping the list is Chappell Roan, finally making her Laneway debut with a full-scale 90-minute headline set. The gothic pop sensation brings her theatrical production to Australia for the first time ever in what’s sure to be a highlight of the season. She’s joined by returning favourites Wolf Alice, delivering an exclusive Laneway performance to remind us of their Mercury Prize-winning magic.
The festival also boasts a run of exclusive appearances including PinkPantheress, Role Model, Wet Leg, and a rare collaborative set from Swedish rap icons Yung Lean & Bladee. Indie stars like Lucy Dacus, Alex G, BENEE, Cavetown, Mt. Joy and The Dare round out the stacked international list, alongside a sharp selection of rising artists and homegrown talent.
Emerging acts Malcolm Todd, Oklou, Jensen McRae, and Gigi Perez showcase Laneway’s commitment to spotlighting the next wave, while local favourites like Teen Jesus and the Jean Teasers, Blusher, and Shady Nasty bring the energy from home soil. With a third of the lineup making their Australian debut, Laneway 2026 levels up in every direction.
Pre-sale registrations are open now ahead of tickets dropping on 23rd September for Afterpay pre-sale and 24th September for general public sale. The six-city tour kicks off in Auckland on 5th February and wraps in Perth on 15th February.
