Charlotte de Witte Teased for Pitch Music & Arts 2026 Return

Belgian techno titan Charlotte de Witte has been heavily teased as the first artist on the Pitch Music & Arts 2026 lineup, following the release of the festival’s atmospheric teaser video. The clip, shared on Thursday, 16th October, marks the official launch of the 2026 campaign and features de Witte’s high-octane track Overdrive in its closing moments—signalling her long-awaited return to the Grampian Plains.

This will mark Charlotte de Witte’s second appearance at Pitch Music & Arts, having last played in 2019. Her reputation has only grown since, cementing her status as one of the most in-demand artists in global techno. The teaser’s cinematic tone—centred on a surreal exchange between a human and synthetic being—echoes the tension and energy that defines de Witte’s sound, making the musical choice a deliberate and powerful hint.

The festival, taking place from 6th to 10th March, 2026, has already unveiled major updates to its stages and site design, including a reimagined Pitch Black stage, a new Pitch Rock Pool, and the appointment of Tom Supple as Arts Curator. The inclusion of Charlotte de Witte would continue Pitch’s tradition of hosting top-tier international talent within its architectural stage builds and Funktion One sound systems.

While the full lineup is yet to be revealed, all signs point toward Charlotte de Witte leading a heavyweight bill for Pitch 2026. With ticket reservations and presale registrations now open, fans are encouraged to secure their spot early. If confirmed, her return would be one of the most anticipated bookings in the festival’s nine-year history.
