Insomniac has announced the Northern California debut of its beloved Day Trip Festival, bringing the acclaimed house and techno series to Discovery Meadow in San Jose for the very first time. Produced in partnership with NPU Live, Day Trip Festival NorCal is set for Saturday, 17th October and Sunday, 18th October, 2026, marking an exciting new chapter for one of the United States' most celebrated open-air dance music brands.

The two-day, 18+ event promises a curated weekend of groove-driven house and peak-time techno across both days. Saturday, 17th October features a standout Gordo B2B Vintage Culture headline set, alongside Eli Brown performing a dedicated sunset set, Wax Motif, Script, JLittle, and Lefty. Sunday, 18th October rounds out the weekend with Cloonee, the special After Midnight collaboration featuring Matroda x San Pacho, Fallon, Eve Lauren, Sage, and a very special guest still to be announced.

What started as a casual Sunday gathering in Los Angeles has evolved into a nationally recognised festival brand, and the Bay Area debut signals continued momentum for the Day Trip name.
