Rhythm and Vines is back with a blockbuster first lineup for its 2025-2026 edition, led by three dynamic headliners: Kid Cudi, Turnstile, and Wilkinson. The renowned New Year’s festival in Gisborne, New Zealand will once again take over Waiohika Estate from 29th December, 2025 to 1st January, 2026, promising an electric start to the year. With a stacked first release featuring 49 acts, festivalgoers can expect more names to be added as the summer draws closer.

This year’s headline trio is as diverse as ever. Kid Cudi, making an exclusive New Zealand appearance, brings his visionary hip-hop catalogue to the stage. Hardcore punk trailblazers Turnstile are set to make history as Rhythm and Vines’ first-ever punk headliners, fresh off Grammy nominations and critical acclaim. Wilkinson, a fan favourite among New Zealand’s drum and bass devotees, rounds out the top billing for what’s shaping up to be an unforgettable edition.

Other highlights include exclusive sets from 070 Shake, Marc Rebillet, Cyril, and Jane Remover, plus performances from UK duo Maribou State, L.A.B, A-Trak, Kanine, and SACHI. Local favourites like There’s a Tuesday, Borderline, and Corrella fly the flag for Aotearoa, with emerging artists and seasoned names across the electronic, hip-hop, indie, and pop spectrums completing the first wave.

Tickets go on sale to the general public on Thursday, 28th August at 10:30am local time. Early access begins for One NZ customers from Tuesday, 27th August at 5:30pm, with fan presales opening later that evening from 6:30pm. With over 375,000 attendees since its 2003 debut, Rhythm and Vines continues to be a cultural milestone for Kiwi music lovers.
