In a heartfelt announcement, festival organisers expressed their regret over this difficult decision, citing unforeseen circumstances. Despite the disappointment, the team is prioritizing the well-being of attendees, artists, surfers, and staff.

The lineup, which boasted acts like Young The Giant, Midland, Shakey Graves, and Cory Wong, promised an unforgettable inaugural experience. However, ticket holders can find solace in the fact that they will receive full refunds, including add-ons and accommodations purchased through the festival's site. Refunds will be automatically processed through the ticketing partner, Easol Experience Commerce.

While the cancellation brings disappointment, the organisers remain optimistic about the future.
