Midwest Dreams Music Festival has announced the postponement of its inaugural edition, which was originally scheduled to take place on 31st May 2025. The decision comes just one week before the event, following “extensive damage caused by the May 16th tornado,” according to a statement released by festival organizers.
Set to host major artists including Dom Dolla, Diplo, Acraze, and YDG, the festival was expected to bring a significant crowd to the region for a weekend of electronic music. Despite other events reportedly moving ahead at the same venue, organizers cited safety concerns and site readiness as key reasons for delaying the event.
The new date for Midwest Dreams has been confirmed as 1st November 2025. All previously purchased tickets will automatically roll over to the rescheduled date, though fans do have a limited opportunity to request a refund. Refunds will only be available within a 24-hour window following the announcement.
Organisers noted that the artist lineup is subject to change for the November edition but reassured fans that efforts are being made to maintain the integrity of the original bill. Further updates are expected in the lead-up to the new festival weekend.
