NYE On The Hill will not return to ring in the new year for 2025, with organisers confirming the beloved Victorian festival is taking a break. The three-day event—typically held at The Farm in Krowera—will pause operations to allow the site time to “relax, repair and rejuvenate.”
In a statement shared via social media, festival organisers explained, “We’re taking a year off NYE On The Hill this year… giving the Farm a well-earned chance to relax, repair and rejuvenate. Look forward to welcoming y’all back next NYE.” The team also thanked fans for their continued support, stating they don’t take it for granted.
Since launching in 2012 as a small New Year’s celebration for just over 200 people, NYE On The Hill has grown into one of Victoria’s most adored boutique festivals. Known for its laid-back vibes, community atmosphere and scenic surrounds, the event has championed Australian music while offering camping, BYO drinks, art, yoga and more.
Last year’s edition featured a stacked lineup including Mallrat, The Dreggs, Hockey Dad, Teen Jesus And The Jean Teasers, and Ninajirachi. While fans will miss the New Year’s escape this summer, organisers have promised the festival will return refreshed for the 2026 season.
