With just days to go until New For Now 2025 hits Bar on the Hill, set times have officially landed for the one-night-only hometown festival curated by Rum Jungle. Taking place this Saturday 13th September in Newcastle, the evening promises an electric mix of alt-rock, indie-pop and local energy—now with the full schedule in hand, fans can plan their night accordingly.

The Newcastle favourites will headline the evening in the final slot, capping off a stacked lineup that also features Sycco, Fool Nelson, Bean Magazine, Sonic Reducer, Horse and Chain Daisy. Each act brings something unique to the table, handpicked by Rum Jungle to reflect the community and creativity that’s fuelled their recent rise.

Presented in partnership with Eat Your Water, Carlton Dry and Cult Artists, the event coincides with the deluxe release of Recency Bias (New, For Now)—an expanded edition of their acclaimed debut album. The band’s 2025 run has already included a sold-out AU/NZ tour and a successful North American swing, making this return home all the more special.
