New Zealand’s iconic summer bass music celebration Northern Bass has revealed its first lineup for the 2025 edition, taking over Kaiwaka from 30th to 31st December. With only 6,000 tickets available this year, demand is already surging for the festival’s next-level New Year’s experience, bringing together a mix of international powerhouses and homegrown favourites.
UK rap star Aitch and grime pioneer Dizzee Rascal lead the international contingent, alongside drum and bass giants Pendulum (DJ Set) and Kings of The Rollers + Inja. Bass and jungle fans will be treated to performances from Alix Perez, DJ Hype, DJ Hazard, Simula, Gentlemens Club, State of Mind and The Upbeats, ensuring high-energy sets deep into the night. Rising stars Emily Makis, Amplify, and Barkaa join the bill, alongside genre-shifters like Sicaria, Mystic State, and Paige Julia.
The lineup’s depth continues with sets from Gray, Crossy, Degs, Halfqueen, Catching Cairo, Emerson (A/V), Suune, Inmotion, Keighto, Killjoy, Ruinz and Zero. As always, Northern Bass will blend live vocalists, heavy-hitting DJs and immersive stage productions, creating an unforgettable festival atmosphere to welcome in the new year.
Tickets are on sale now, with a limited capacity making early purchase essential. For those feeling lucky, Northern Bass is also running a ticket giveaway that includes camping and Wayver credit, adding even more incentive to secure a spot at one of New Zealand’s most anticipated summer parties. With more artists still to be announced, NB JNGL25 is shaping up to be one of the festival’s biggest and most in-demand editions yet.
