Palomosa Festival Moves to May for 2026 Edition

Palomosa has officially confirmed its return for 2026, locking in new dates and signalling a significant seasonal shift for the fast-rising Canadian festival. The event will take place from 14th - 16th May, 2026 at Parc Jean-Drapeau, marking the first time Palomosa moves away from its traditional September window since launching. With spring dates now confirmed, the festival is positioning itself for a fresh chapter just two years into its lifespan.

The Montreal-based event debuted in 2024 and has quickly carved out a reputation for forward-thinking lineups that blur the lines between electronic, experimental pop, club culture and left-field live performance. Its most recent edition ran in September 2025, continuing the festival’s boundary-pushing identity while drawing international attention for its bold programming and carefully curated atmosphere.

Palomosa 2025 featured an eclectic lineup including M.I.A., Arca, Yeule, Rebecca Black, Marie Davidson live, Nettspend and TDJ, alongside underground favourites such as MCR-T, X-Coast, Mechatok, The Hellp and Fcukers live. The bill reinforced Palomosa’s commitment to spotlighting artists operating at the fringes of contemporary club and alternative culture, blending global names with emerging voices.

While the 2026 lineup is yet to be announced, the move to May is expected to reshape the festival’s energy and experience, taking advantage of warmer conditions and a new position on the international festival calendar. With dates now locked, Palomosa 2026 is firmly on the radar as one of Canada’s most intriguing boutique festivals heading into its third year.
