The much-anticipated Pitch Black 2021, initially the COVID-friendly adaptation of the Pitch Music & Arts Festival, has announced its cancellation. The festival was originally set for 23rd October 2021, in an inner-city open-air location in Melbourne, only to be postponed and now ultimately cancelled.

The event had rallied an eclectic lineup, featuring artists such as CC:DISCO!, Jennifer Loveless, Skin On Skin, Jensen Interceptor, Ayebatonye, C.FRIM, DAWS, Escape Artist, Moopie, X CLUB., Kim Ann Foxman, and Skatebård. However, despite organisers' efforts to adapt to the pandemic conditions, circumstances have led to the unfortunate decision to cancel the event entirely.

This comes as a major disappointment to festival-goers and the music community, especially as this news arrives just weeks after the event's rescheduling and subsequent postponement.
