Pitch Black 2021, the event replacing the annual Pitch Music & Arts Festival due to COVID-19, announced today that it has been postponed until further notice. The one-day event, initially rescheduled for October 23rd, 2021, has had to once again adapt to the ongoing public health situation.
Originally slated to take place in an open-air inner-city location in Melbourne, the festival had arranged an exciting lineup including acts such as CC:DISCO!, Jennifer Loveless, Skin On Skin, Jensen Interceptor, Ayebatonye, C.FRIM, DAWS, Escape Artist, Moopie, X CLUB., Kim Ann Foxman, and Skatebård.
However, due to the unpredictable nature of the pandemic, festival organisers have made the decision to postpone the event for the safety of attendees, staff, and performers. This is a disappointment for fans who had been looking forward to the rescheduled festival date in October, but public health remains the top priority.
The organisers expressed their gratitude for the understanding and patience of fans, and they remain committed to providing a memorable and safe experience once conditions allow. All ticket holders will be contacted directly about the next steps and options available to them.
