The 2021 edition of Pitch Black, originally planned as an innovative adaptation of the Pitch Music & Arts Festival due to COVID-19, has announced a new date. The festival was scheduled to take place on the 6th of March in Melbourne, VIC but has been moved to the 23rd of October 2021 in the same location.
The one-day festival has made this tough decision to prioritize the safety of festival-goers, artists, and crew members amidst ongoing concerns around the pandemic. While the festival might be happening later in the year than originally planned, attendees can expect the same electrifying lineup including acclaimed acts such as CC:DISCO!, DJ Boring, DJ Seinfeld, HAAi, Jennifer Loveless, and Skin on Skin.
While the change in date is a disappointment for eager fans, it offers a renewed hope for a safer and more enjoyable festival experience. The extra time will also allow for potential easing of restrictions, aiming to bring back the full magic of the Pitch Black experience this October.
