After five years of vibrant celebrations under the sun, Sun Cycle NYD is set to have its final edition on 1st January 2024 at Coburg Velodrome, VIC. The event organisers, Untitled Group, WAT Artists, and Crown Ruler, have announced that this upcoming Sun Cycle will be the festival's concluding chapter, marking the end of an era in the Australian music scene.

Sun Cycle first made its mark in 2020, rapidly becoming a staple for New Year's Day festivities. Over the years, it has been celebrated for its dynamic energy and the exceptional lineup of artists it brought together. The 2024 edition promises to uphold this legacy, featuring a stellar lineup of 25 artists, including the likes of Erika de Casier, Jayda G, Mildlife, Objekt, Overmono, Baby G, Lady SHaka, and Miss Kaninna.

The organisers' statement reflects a bittersweet sentiment: "Five rotations around the sun come to a close. Sun Cycle will not return after a final send off this NYD 2024." They emphasize that while it's the end of Sun Cycle, it opens the door to new projects and endeavours.
