Wildlands Festival will return in 2026 with two major summer dates—New Year’s Day in Brisbane and 3rd January in Perth—as organisers Untitled Group announce a streamlined version of the event following a pause on the Adelaide edition.
Now in its seventh year, Wildlands continues to bring its high-energy fusion of electronic, hip-hop and indie music to two of Australia’s most vibrant cities. Brisbane’s edition will shift from its previous New Year’s Eve timeslot to 1st January at Brisbane Showgrounds, while Perth’s event will return to Arena Joondalup on 3rd January, marking a welcome comeback for Western Australian fans.
The festival’s decision to step back from Adelaide in 2026 comes after three consecutive years in South Australia. In a statement, organisers described it as a “difficult decision”, citing shifting industry conditions and the challenge of delivering the event at their usual high standard. Despite this, Wildlands remains a key player in the summer festival circuit—having previously hosted artists like Tyler, The Creator, Peggy Gou, FISHER, Ice Spice and RÜFÜS DU SOL.
Wildlands forms part of Untitled Group’s broader festival network, which reached over 630,000 attendees across Australia in 2024 alone. With tickets and presale access for 2026 editions now available, fans can expect another blockbuster lineup to be revealed in the coming months.
