Zootown Music Festival has unveiled its highly anticipated 2026 lineup, returning to the scenic Missoula Fairgrounds for its second edition from 19th to 20th June. Following the runaway success of its debut last year, Zootown’s sophomore year promises an even more unforgettable experience — combining world-class music with Montana’s natural beauty and signature laid-back energy.

Headlining this year’s event are Grammy-winning folk-rockers The Lumineers, trailblazing country trio The Chicks (making their first Montana appearance in over two decades), and blues-rock powerhouse Tedeschi Trucks Band. They’ll be joined by indie favourites Rainbow Kitten Surprise, Trampled By Turtles, The Head and The Heart, and a genre-spanning mix of rising talent, jam bands, singer-songwriters, and regional acts across two stacked days of performances.

With over 60 percent of the 2026 artists having never performed in Montana before, Zootown continues to position itself as a major destination event for both locals and travelling fans. Notably, The Chicks’ Montana roots run deep — Wide Open Spaces songwriter Susan Gibson wrote the group’s hit while attending the University of Montana, making their return particularly special.

Beyond the music, Zootown will once again partner with GuideTime to offer curated outdoor excursions — from river rafting to mountain biking and guided hikes. Tickets go on pre-sale Friday, 21st November at 10:00am MST for SMS subscribers and inaugural attendees, with general on-sale following at 1:00pm.
