The Northern Territory’s premier music festival is officially scheduled for Saturday, 16th May, 2026, with the iconic Mindil Beach in Darwin set to host another unforgettable day of live music and good vibes.

This announcement comes hot off the success of the 2025 edition, which drew thousands of punters to the beachside stage for a massive lineup. Last year’s event featured standout sets from Hilltop Hoods, The Amity Affliction, Meg Mac, Luude, and The Jungle Giants, delivering a high-energy mix of hip hop, electronic, rock, and indie across a packed single-day schedule.

Although the 2026 artist lineup is yet to be revealed, fans can expect another diverse bill of big-name Australian acts, emerging talents, and high-energy DJs. Darwin’s beloved beachside music festival will light up Mindil Beach on 16th May, 2026.

BASSINTHEGRASS has officially unveiled the set times for its 2025 edition, giving festivalgoers all the info they need to plan their perfect day in the Top End. Set to take over Darwin’s iconic Mindil Beach on Saturday, 17 May, the beloved festival is once again bringing a stacked all-Aussie lineup (with a few international favourites) and a massive beachside party vibe.

Leading the charge are Aussie hip-hop legends Hilltop Hoods, who will close out the main stage with a high-energy headline set, while heavy music fans can look forward to a powerful performance from The Amity Affliction earlier in the evening. Also on the bill are festival favourites The Jungle Giants, electronic party-starter Hot Dub Time Machine, UK chart-topper Jax Jones, and drum and bass heavyweight Luude.

Emerging local talent is well represented, with Jazmine Nikitta, Baby J, and 3% kicking things off early in the day. Fans of indie and alt-pop can look forward to sets from Meg Mac, Hope D, and Old Mervs, while rising stars like Cyril, The Rions, and Latifa Tee will bring their own flavour to the tropical stage.
