Breaking Borders will return to Malta between 3rd - 6th September, 2026, bringing the world’s largest Desi destination festival back to the Mediterranean for four days of music, culture and global community. Following a hugely successful 2025 edition, the festival continues its rapid rise as a defining international celebration of South Asian music, drawing fans from across Europe, Australia and beyond to experience a vibrant lineup of Punjabi, hip hop and Desi sounds on the island’s stunning coastline.

Leading the 2026 announcement is global superstar Karan Aujla, who will make festival history with two headline performances across Friday and Sunday, each featuring completely different setlists. The landmark double appearance marks the first time in Aujla’s career he has delivered two unique headline shows at the same event, promising fans an exclusive live experience as the Punjabi icon returns to one of the fastest growing festivals on the global Desi music calendar.

Joining the lineup is international hitmaker AP Dhillon, confirmed as the Saturday night headliner, alongside a stacked roster of artists including Jasmine Sandlas, Sukha, Tegi Pannu, The PropheC, Harkirat Sangha, BK, Panjabi MC, Miss Pooja and Prabh. The festival will also feature high energy DJ takeovers from Desi Beatz and Jawani 4eva, showcasing the thriving global Desi club scene across multiple stages and late night parties.

Breaking Borders 2026 presale begins at 10am GMT on Sunday 8th March, with general tickets available from 10am GMT on Monday 9th March. Fans will be able to choose from 3 Day and 4 Day General Admission or VIP passes, offering access to a weekend designed to unite music lovers from around the world for one of the most ambitious Desi festival experiences ever staged.
