Organisers of Electric Bay Festival have confirmed the event will not take place in 2026, with the Torquay favourite set to take a planned year out after headline acts could not be secured. The decision means the festival will not return to its usual home at Torre Abbey this summer, disappointing fans who had anticipated another coastal weekend of electronic music.

In a statement, organisers said they explored all options to deliver the festival at its expected level but were ultimately unable to lock in the right headliners within the required timeframe. Rather than present a reduced version of the event, the team opted to pause for a year, prioritising quality and long term sustainability over pushing ahead with a compromised edition.

The focus will now shift toward planning a larger return in summer 2027, which will mark Electric Bay’s fifth anniversary. Organisers indicated the break would allow time to reset creatively and commercially, promising a stronger comeback that reflects the festival’s growth and reputation within the UK dance music scene.

Electric Bay Festival confirms it will not take place in 2026 after organisers were unable to secure headline acts, with plans now focused on a fifth anniversary return in 2027.

Electric Bay has revealed the full set times for its 2025 edition, giving fans everything they need to plan their ultimate seaside weekend. Running from 11th to 13th July at the picturesque Torre Abbey Meadows in Torquay, the UK festival returns with a diverse mix of heavyweight DJs, live acts, and iconic performers across three jam-packed days.

This year’s lineup includes legendary names like Fatboy Slim, Bloc Party (performing Silent Alarm and The Greatest Hits), Idris Elba, Andy C, and The Coral, alongside crowd favourites such as Hedex, Paul Woolford, Everything Everything, Goldie (Live), K Motionz and Sarah Story. From blistering drum and bass to euphoric house and anthemic indie, Electric Bay 2025 is stacked with genre-spanning talent.

Also joining the bill are fast-rising artists and underground favourites including Mozey, Sota, Aries, Catching Cairo, Pattern Pusher, [IVY], Alex Souloud, Spyda, and Selecta J-Man. With a blend of big names and fresh energy, the set times release promises a tightly curated weekend of nonstop music on the English Riviera.
