Lakes Festival has announced its 2025 lineup, marking its return to Christchurch’s Hagley Park on 28th December for a full day of music, food, and summer celebration. Formerly known as Hidden Valley, the festival will deliver 10 hours of performances across three stages, blending international heavy-hitters with some of New Zealand’s most exciting homegrown talent.

Topping the bill is UK drum and bass star Wilkinson, alongside Irish house favourite Kettama and the lush live electronica of Maribou State. Belgian bass producer Alix Perez will appear with a special Strictly Soulful set, while Scottish producer Sam Gellaitry and UK house selector ATRIP bring their own distinct sounds. Other international highlights include vocalist Emily Makis, dancefloor duo Good Neighbours, and rising Australian names Club Angel and Fukhed.

Local fans are in for a treat with exclusive South Island performances from acts such as Home Brew, SIN, Beccie B, and Thanks, alongside a strong Christchurch and NZ representation from Hound, Indecisive, Two Faced, Hang The Saints, Haven, Chole, Fidden, and Stimulant Disco. The eclectic mix ensures a diverse soundtrack spanning drum and bass, house, hip hop, and live electronica.

Pre-registration for Lakes Festival 2025 is now open, with pre-sale tickets available from 7 pm on Tuesday, 19th August. General sale begins at 5:30 pm on Wednesday, 20th August. With an exclusive South Island artist roster and a prime summer date, demand for tickets is expected to be high.

Hidden Lakes Festival has just unveiled its highly anticipated lineup for 2024, promising an electrifying experience at Hagley Park in Christchurch, New Zealand.
