Electric Avenue has unveiled its 2027 lineup, and it is an absolute statement of intent. Calvin Harris and Kings of Leon will headline the two-day Christchurch festival when it returns to Hagley Park on 26th–27th February, 2027, marking the event's twelfth year as one of New Zealand's premier outdoor music experiences. Festival director Callam Mitchell described the pairing as a reflection of Electric Avenue's growth, noting that having two global stadium-level headliners alongside such a diverse supporting cast has become the event's defining hallmark.

Calvin Harris will perform his only New Zealand show of the trip, making it his first appearance in the country since 2019, while Kings of Leon's set will mark their first Christchurch performance in 19 years. The US rock outfit are also gearing up to release their new album, O My Beloved, in November. Beyond the headliners, the bill is stacked with exclusive New Zealand performances from Jungle, Tove Lo, Kehlani and Underworld, alongside Major Lazer, Bebe Rexha, Kasabian, Gorgon City, Wilkinson, Lime Cordiale and drum and bass heavyweights Hybrid Minds and K Motionz.

Local talent features prominently across both days, with Fat Freddy's Drop, Th' Dudes, Savage, Daily J and Louis Baker among the Friday acts, and Ladyhawke, Home Brew, SACHI and Coterie joining Saturday's bill. Demand has been extraordinary, with an initial 32,000-ticket allocation selling out in under an hour back in April, leaving around 15,000 tickets still available across the festival. Final general admission weekend passes, single-day tickets and VIP options go on sale at 12pm on 24th September, 2026.

The two-day Christchurch festival returns to Hagley Park on 26th - 27th February, 2027, with Calvin Harris and Kings of Leon confirmed as headliners.

Good Gumnuts Festival is celebrating a landmark fifth edition with one of its strongest lineups to date, announcing The Temper Trap and New Zealand's BENEE as headliners for the 5th, 6th and 7th of March, 2027. The all ages music, arts and camping festival returns to the Agriplex in pataway/Burnie, Tasmania, continuing its mission to deliver world-class live music to the state's North West Coast.

Founded by Harry Badcock and Charlotte Grey as a one-off celebration following their first wedding anniversary, Good Gumnuts has grown steadily into one of regional Australia's most beloved independent festivals. The 2027 bill adds serious depth beneath the headliners, with Dune Rats, Example (UK), Luca Brasi, Meg Mac, Vera Blue and Winston Surfshirt confirmed for the second tier, alongside personal founder picks Betty Taylor, The Slims and PARK RD (NZ). A packed undercard rounds out the programme with acts including Babe Rainbow, Press Club, Sycco, Teenage Joans, Waax and many more.

For Badcock and Grey, reaching five years is something of a surprise given the festival's humble origins. "The first Good Gumnuts was going to be a one-off," Badcock explains. "Then we loved it so much, especially bringing music to the Coast, that we kept going. Heading into year five is pretty surreal." The 2027 edition also introduces limited VIP tickets for the first time, marking the festival's most significant format evolution since its inception.

Five Years of Good Gumnuts: The Temper Trap and BENEE Lead the 5th - 7th March, 2027 Festival Lineup in Tasmania.

Radar Festival has revealed its 2026/27 lineup, confirming two massive events across Western Australia and Queensland this summer. Perth kicks things off on 28th December, 2026 at Langley Park, with Brisbane following on 2nd January, 2027 at Superordinary. The young Australian festival, which launched in 2024, is expanding its footprint with full-scale production at both stops, cementing its reputation as one of the country's most exciting dance music events.

The confirmed lineup spans house, techno, UK garage and hard dance, headlined by Partiboi69, Boys Noize, salute and Bella Claxton. Joining them are DJ Seinfeld, Club Angel, Riordan, AZYR, Emma Moon, Faster Horses, Juicy Romance, Julian Fijma, Locky, Osmosis Jones, Sam Alfred, Soul Mass Transit System, Southstar, Tommy Holohan, AK Sports, Carla Martinez, Joe Hunt and Ned Bennett, with the latter two performing exclusively in Perth. Additional acts are still to be announced across both cities.

Radar's programming approach continues to balance internationally recognised artists with emerging local talent, reflecting the diversity and energy of Australian club culture. Pre-sale tickets go live on Thursday, 17th September, 2026 at 9:00am local time, with general on-sale opening the following morning, Friday, 18th September, 2026 at 9:00am local.

Radar Festival Confirms Boys Noize, Partiboi69, Bella Claxton and More for Perth and Brisbane 2026/27 Events

Dreamstate Australia has unveiled its complete lineup for the 2027 edition of the festival, with the final wave of artists rounding out what is shaping up to be the most ambitious programme in the event's short but explosive history. Ferry Corsten, MaRLo, Natte Visstick, Xijaro & Pitch, Nikolina, Nicolas Julian, VisionV and Alt1 are confirmed as the final additions to a bill already anchored by global superstar Tiësto performing an exclusive trance set across Sydney and Melbourne in February 2027.

The full lineup spans trance, techno, hard techno and the harder edges of electronic music, with twenty acts now confirmed A-Z: Alt1, BIIA, Billy Gillies, Dimatik, Factor B, Ferry Corsten, Indira Paganotto pres. Artcore, Infected Mushroom, Lilly Palmer, Marie Vaunt, MaRLo, Natte Visstick, Nicolas Julian, Nikolina, Onlynumbers, Prada2000, Reinier Zonneveld, Tiësto (Trance Set), VisionV and Xijaro & Pitch. Dutch trance pioneer Ferry Corsten brings over three decades of influence to the stage, while MaRLo delivers his trademark high-energy sound and Dutch hard dance phenomenon Natte Visstick represents the heavier end of the spectrum.

Among the most poignant moments of the 2027 edition will be the final Australian performance from Belgian trance duo Xijaro & Pitch, whose devoted following has grown through years of emotive, powerful sets. Frontman Anthony, who is blind, is now also experiencing hearing loss, lending this farewell appearance at Dreamstate Australia an emotional weight that will resonate deeply with fans across the country. Remaining tickets are on sale now ahead of the Sydney Showground show on Saturday 6th February 2027 and the Melbourne Flemington Racecourse show on Sunday 7th February 2027.

Sydney's beloved New Year's Day institution, Field Day, has unveiled its 2027 lineup, with the festival returning to The Domain on Gadigal Country on Friday, 1st January 2027. Headlining the Centre Field stage are genre-defying global juggernauts Major Lazer, making their first Australian appearance in 11 years, British drum and bass titan Sub Focus, and a still-mysterious third headliner teased only as "???? ????" with more to be revealed. Presented by Fuzzy, the announcement lands within the promoter's own 30th anniversary year, marking three decades of shaping Australia's live music landscape.

The supporting cast is equally stacked, spanning drum and bass legend Andy C, GRAMMY-nominated multi-instrumentalist Elderbrook, viral Scottish DJ Hannah Laing, Santa Barbara trio Łaszewo, breakout UK producer nimino, Colombian-born nu-trance pioneer Funk Tribu, electro heavyweight Boys Noize, and Sydney's own Club Angel, among many others. The Casamigos Camp Ground stage returns proudly curated by the LGBTQIA+ community, while the Tree Top stage rounds out three distinct dancefloor experiences across the one-day event.

In a notable access initiative, Fuzzy is offering a dedicated ticket ballot for 18 to 25-year-olds, with $99.90 plus fees tickets set aside for a generation whose formative festival years were disrupted by the COVID-19 pandemic. The ballot opens at 12pm AEST on Wednesday, 2nd September, 2026, and closes at 11:59pm AEST on Sunday, 6th September, 2026, with presale access available from 12pm AEST on Wednesday, 9th September, and general public tickets on sale from 10am AEST on Thursday, 10th September.

With over 500,000 attendees through its gates across more than two decades at The Domain, Field Day 2027 is shaping up as one of the most exciting editions in the festival's celebrated history.
