Rhythm and Alps has unveiled its full lineup for 2026, and it is shaping up to be the New Zealand festival's most exciting edition yet. Marking 16 years since its inception, the Cardrona Valley event returns to Wānaka across 30th–31st December, 2026, this time in a refreshed two-day format designed to deliver what organisers are calling "its biggest New Year's celebration yet." Headlining the bill are drum and bass powerhouse Dimension, Grey Lynn pop superstar BENEE, beloved Kiwi acts Fat Freddy's Drop and Shapeshifter, and rising producer MPH.

Rounding out the upper tier of the lineup are Belters Only, Flava D, Flowidus, Lee Mvtthews, and Wax Mustang, while local favourites Borderline and NO CIGAR represent the homegrown pop-rock and indie rock scenes respectively. The full bill also includes Fat Papi, Charli Brix, Ely Oaks, [IVY], Bari, Chris Keene, Deep Notion, and dozens more acts across the two days, with further names still to be announced. It is a lineup that balances international firepower with strong New Zealand talent throughout every tier.

Tickets are currently on sale, with fans able to choose between a full festival pass covering both days or a single-day ticket for either 30th or 31st December. That flexibility is a welcome addition for those looking to experience just one night of the New Year's celebrations in the Southern Alps. Australian electronic music festival Hypersonic has officially announced its 2026 return, and it's shaping up to be the biggest edition yet. Taking place across two massive events, the festival will kick off on Friday, 20th November, 2026 at Melbourne Showgrounds, before heading to Royal Randwick Racecourse in Sydney on Saturday, 21st November, 2026. Notably, the Sydney event marks a significant milestone for the festival as it moves to a fully outdoor format, a move the organisers say was driven directly by fan feedback.

Both events will feature three distinct stages catering to a wide spectrum of electronic music. The main Hypersonic Stage promises a state-of-the-art production setup complete with time-coded fireworks and an upgraded sound system, delivering EDM anthems and hands-in-the-air moments throughout the day. The Hyperave Stage is designed for those chasing pure rave energy, packing heavy kicks, distorted basslines, pyrotechnics, CO2 cannons, and an immersive lighting rig into one relentless experience. For fans of more underground sounds, the Hyperspace Stage offers a sanctuary of deeper grooves, progressive house, and melodic techno.

The 2026 lineup has been described by organisers as the most stacked in Hypersonic's short but impressive history, spanning EDM, trance, techno, and hardstyle across all three stages. The Meredith Music Festival has unveiled its 2026 lineup, and it is shaping up to be one of the most eclectic editions yet of Australia's beloved annual gathering. Returning to the iconic Meredith Supernatural Amphitheatre in Meredith, Victoria across the 11th–13th December, 2026, the festival's 34th instalment brings together a remarkable spread of local and international talent spanning indie, electronic, punk, jazz, and experimental sounds.

Headlining the bill are Melbourne post-punk veterans Eddy Current Suppression Ring alongside acclaimed American artist Dijon, with further highlights including Hiatus Kaiyote, The Dandy Warhols, Show Me the Body, Suzanne Ciani, Killing Heidi, Fat Dog, and DJ Seinfeld. Rounding out the diverse card are Fcukers, Underscores, Tara Clerkin Trio, Spike Fuck, Ella Thompson, Docker River Band, Marcellus Pittman, Hana Stretton, Twisted Teens, Blue Communications, Miles Nautu, Sophia Stel, Jorg Kuning, Yikes, D Train and Mondo Freaks, DJ Love, Media Puzzle, and the City of Ballarat Municipal Brass Band.

For those yet to secure a ticket, the second round of the Meredith 34 ballot is currently open and will close on Tuesday, 18th August, 2026 at 10:34pm local time. First introduced in 2007, the ballot system was designed to distribute tickets in a fair and stress-free way, and existing subscribers remain best placed to score a spot on the grass.

HSU Events has dropped the full lineup for EPIK 2026, and it is a statement of intent from one of Australia's most celebrated hard dance productions. Headlined by the iconic Dutch collaboration Project One, the bill features an extraordinary collection of international and local talent across a single massive night at Sydney Showground on Saturday, 12th December, 2026.

Joining Project One are Code Black, Mish, Mutilator performing a Rave Reactor Live set, Noxiouz bringing The Catalyst Live, Phuture Noize, and The Saints, alongside a Rebelion MWI Exclusive World Premiere that marks a significant moment for the global hard dance calendar. Rounding out the bill are two high-energy battle sets, Suae vs Kid Finley and Weaver vs JTS, with Villain confirmed as host for the evening.

Tickets go on presale at 12:00pm on Thursday, 13th August, 2026, with general public sales opening the following day at 12:00pm on Friday, 14th August, 2026. Given HSU's track record of rapid sellouts, early registration is strongly advised for anyone serious about securing a spot.
