New Zealand's beloved summer festival Le Currents has officially revealed its 2026 lineup, and it's the biggest announcement in the event's six-year history. For the first time since launching in 2020, the Culture and Arts Festival is expanding to a full two-day format, taking place on 27th and 28th December, 2026 at Riverside Park on the shores of Lake Taupō.

Headlining the expanded bill are Australian surf-rock favourites Ocean Alley, New Zealand soul legends Fat Freddy's Drop, and internationally renowned DJ and producer Carl Cox. Joining them are DMA's, No Cigar, UK electronic duo Dusky, Summer Thieves, and The Terry's, alongside a stacked undercard featuring Borderline, Beccie B, Vanilla Gorilla, Eden Burns, Coast Arcade, Old Mervs, Hutch, Double Parked, Abeiku, Cruze Control, Rafiki, Foxtrot, Fine Wine Social Club, Las Iguanas, Greta Van Den Brink, Norty Club Collective, Bari, Zozo, Sexy Kate, Ruby Lee, Divine, Mantis, Batbatgoose, and a back-to-back-to-back set from Toby, Tyler, and Torben.

One of the most talked-about additions is The Butlers, who are confirmed to perform their last ever show at Le Currents 2026, making the event a genuinely historic occasion for New Zealand music fans. With a lineup this diverse, spanning live acts, DJ sets, and once-in-a-lifetime moments, Le Currents is shaping up to be an unmissable summer destination.

Tickets go on presale on 24th June, 2026 at 7pm, with general on-sale opening the following evening, 25th June, 2026 at 7pm. Festival-goers from across New Zealand and beyond are encouraged to move quickly, as the shift to a two-day format is expected to drive strong demand for what promises to be a landmark edition of Le Currents at Riverside Park, Taupō.

Le Currents 2026 Announces Massive Two-Day Lineup Featuring Carl Cox, Ocean Alley and Fat Freddy's Drop.

Yours & Owls, the beloved Wollongong festival now in its twelfth year, has unveiled a stacked lineup for its 2026 edition, taking place across 3rd–4th October on Dharawal Country. Headlining the weekend are Canadian hip-hop phenomenon BBNO$, appearing in his only Australian show, and homegrown multi-instrumentalist G Flip, whose viral hit 'Bed On Fire' has been soundtrack of the year. Supported by triple j and backed by the Australian Government's Revive Live programme, this year's event promises to be the most ambitious instalment yet.

The mid-tier lineup is equally compelling, featuring Brisbane indie favourites Ball Park Music, Britpop-adjacent icons DMA's, the electrifying Genesis Owusu, Grammy-nominated neo-soul outfit Hiatus Kaiyote, drum and bass powerhouse Luude, Middle Kids, dance veterans PNAU, punk legends The Drones marking their return from a decade-long hiatus, and ARIA Award-winner Tkay Maidza. Dozens of additional acts round out a diverse, genre-spanning bill that spans hip-hop, rock, electronic, soul, and everything in between.

In an exciting new development, Yours & Owls 2026 expands its footprint beyond Flagstaff Hill. Day one returns to the spectacular foreshore greenspace, while day two transforms Wollongong CBD into a sprawling music precinct, with performances spilling across closed streets, intimate venues, and hidden laneways throughout the city centre.

Presale tickets go live at 8am AEST on 24th June, 2026, with general on-sale following at 8am AEST on 25th June. Yours & Owls 2026 will span two distinct settings across 3rd - 4th October, blending the Flagstaff Hill foreshore with a brand-new Wollongong city centre programme.

EDC Korea has officially unveiled its lineup for the 2026 edition, and it is shaping up to be one of the most exciting instalments yet. Taking place on 3rd–4th October, 2026 at Inspire Entertainment Resort's Discovery Park in South Korea, the festival is presented by Insomniac and local partner Pulse Events. With multiple stages, art installations, and cutting-edge production, the two-day event promises a fully immersive experience under the electric sky.

The 2026 lineup reflects the festival's signature cross-genre approach, with something on offer for virtually every corner of the dance music world. Headlining the bill are heavy hitters including FISHER, DJ Snake, Tiësto, Subtronics, SVDDEN DEATH, and ALOK, alongside a highly anticipated back-to-back set from Illenium and Dabin. Hard dance fans are well catered for with performances from Brennan Heart, Coone, and Ben Nicky's XTREME project, while trance devotees can look forward to Cosmic Gate, Aly & Fila, and Vini Vici.

Rounding out the diverse bill are hard techno acts 999999999, Charlie Sparks, OGUZ, and Nico Moreno, plus bass-heavy talent including Dimension, BOU, Jessica Audiffred, TroyBoi, Mary Droppinz, and Sara Landry. Lilly Palmer, TOKiMONSTA, R3HAB, W&W, and a host of others further bolster what is an impressively stacked roster. First-time addition Hotel EDC also joins the 2026 programme, bringing an on-site accommodation experience to the festival for the very first time.

EDC Korea 2026 takes place on 3rd - 4th October at Inspire Entertainment Resort, with FISHER, Tiësto, and DJ Snake among the confirmed headliners.

Rolling Sets 2026 has arrived in a big way, with the triple j and Rip Curl-presented coastal festival announcing a landmark expansion to two stunning NSW locations this summer. Fresh off a sold-out debut in Tweed Heads last year, the beloved boutique event will now call both Ebenezer Park at Duranbah Beach and Newcastle's iconic Foreshore Park home, with dates set for Saturday 28th November and Saturday 5th December respectively. Festival Director Matt Wise says the move to Newcastle was driven by growth, noting the new venue's increased capacity, transport links and accommodation options while preserving the laid-back waterfront atmosphere the festival is known for.

Headlining the 2026 lineup are alt-rock heavyweights Ocean Alley, riding high on the success of their acclaimed album Love Balloon and appearing in a rare NSW and Queensland festival exclusive. Joining them at the top of the bill are Royel Otis, whose breakout international run included Coachella appearances, along with G Flip, fresh from the viral success of Bed On Fire, and the long-awaited festival return of Violent Soho. The lineup also features The Rions, Old Mervs, Teen Jesus and the Jean Teasers, The Belair Lip Bombs, Evening Elephants and many more across both sites.

Beyond the main stage, the Need2Freak stage brings a curated electronic and DJ programme featuring Bushbaby, Fritter and Wongo, Anika, Elijah Something, Ryan Maloney and DJ Macaroni. Rolling Sets is also levelling up its skate and lifestyle offerings in 2026, introducing a dedicated athlete zone as part of its expanding surf, skate and beach culture footprint. Ticketing is again handled by Humanitix, with 100% of booking fee profits directed to charities supporting disadvantaged children through education and healthcare initiatives.

Rolling Sets 2026 will bring Ocean Alley, Royel Otis, G Flip and Violent Soho to two iconic NSW coastal venues across November and December.

Dreamstate Australia has delivered its biggest announcement yet, confirming that global trance icon Tiësto will perform an exclusive trance set at the 2027 edition of the festival. The performance marks a rare and significant return to the genre that first brought the Dutch DJ and producer to international prominence, long before GRAMMY Awards, stadium tours, and crossover chart success defined his later career.

Tiësto will headline Dreamstate Australia across two massive shows in February 2027, touching down at Sydney Showground on Saturday 6th February and Melbourne's Flemington Racecourse on Sunday 7th February. Presented exclusively by Dreamstate Australia, the performances are being celebrated as some of the most anticipated trance events the country has seen in recent memory, arriving on the back of the festival's record-breaking 2026 run.

Now firmly established as Australia's premier trance, techno, and hard techno destination, Dreamstate Australia promises its most ambitious production to date for 2027, with large-scale staging, world-class laser shows, and a lineup spanning multiple generations of electronic music. Pre-sale registration is currently open, with pre-sale tickets going on sale at 12pm AEST on Thursday 18th June, followed by general on-sale at 12pm AEST on Friday 19th June.
