Hypersonic has announced a venue change for its Melbourne leg, with the event now set to take place at Flemington Racecourse on Sunday, 30th November, 2025. Originally slated for Melbourne Showgrounds, the decision comes in response to significant roadworks and transport disruptions that would have impacted thousands of attendees.
From 14th November to 1st December, Yarra Trams will conduct major overhead wire and track removal works, resulting in the closure of both Union Road and Epsom Road at the main entrance to the Showgrounds. With road access severely limited and disruptions expected across public transport, taxi, and rideshare networks, organisers opted to shift the event just next door to Flemington to ensure a smooth experience.
The move guarantees ease of access, with tram, train, and rideshare services continuing to operate as usual to Flemington Racecourse. The date and full lineup remain unchanged, with headline acts including Armin Van Buuren, Alesso, Adam Beyer, Steve Aoki, MaRLo, Aaron Hibell, and more, plus local favourite Dimatik performing exclusively in Melbourne.
Organisers have reassured fans that despite the venue change, the Hypersonic experience will remain just as high-energy — only now with less travel stress. All tickets remain valid for the new location, and attendees are encouraged to plan ahead and use public transport for the easiest arrival.
